Men's Health
Men are statistically far less likely to seek care for the things quietly wearing them down — the stress that never lets up, the sleep that isn't restoring, the energy and libido that have slipped, the low mood they don't talk about. Acupuncture offers a practical, low-pressure entry point: a treatment that works on the body, requires no big emotional disclosure to begin, and addresses several of these issues at once. This page lays out where it can help.
Where Acupuncture Can Help
Stress, burnout, and the body's stress response. Chronic work and life stress drives much of what undermines men's health — sleep, energy, mood, libido, and cardiovascular strain all connect back to a nervous system stuck in overdrive. Regulating that stress response is the center of my practice.
Sleep and energy. Poor sleep and persistent fatigue are among the most common and most fixable complaints. Acupuncture's well-established benefit for sleep often improves energy, focus, and mood along with it.
Low libido and sexual health. Reduced libido and sexual function often trace back to stress, sleep, fatigue, and hormonal or vascular factors. Acupuncture can offer supportive care for the stress and circulation side of the picture — and because these symptoms can also signal underlying medical issues (cardiovascular, hormonal, metabolic), I'll always encourage appropriate medical evaluation rather than treating them in isolation.
Prostate-related and urinary symptoms. Pelvic discomfort and urinary symptoms (such as those from chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain) are areas where men seek acupuncture for symptom support — alongside, never instead of, a urologist's evaluation, since these symptoms need proper medical diagnosis.
Male fertility support. Sperm health is shaped by stress, sleep, and lifestyle, and supportive care takes about three months to matter (one sperm production cycle). See the fertility page for how I work with couples and individuals trying to conceive.
Mood and the things men don't always say out loud. Low mood, irritability, and anxiety are common and treatable. Acupuncture supports the nervous-system side and complements — never replaces — mental health care, which I'll always encourage when it's needed.
A Straightforward, Collaborative Approach
Several men's-health symptoms — erectile difficulty, urinary changes, significant fatigue — can be early signs of conditions that genuinely need a physician (heart, hormones, blood sugar, prostate). I treat the supportive, stress, sleep, and circulation side of the picture, and I'll consistently point you toward medical evaluation rather than letting acupuncture substitute for a workup you should have. Any herbal medicine is reviewed against your medications.
What Treatment Looks Like
Your first visit (about 75–90 minutes). A practical, no-pressure conversation about what's going on — stress, sleep, energy, mood, libido, any symptoms or diagnoses, and medications — followed by your first treatment. Discretion is a given.
A typical course. Most concerns respond to consistent treatment: a common rhythm is weekly sessions for several weeks, tracking the things you came in for — sleep, energy, stress, specific symptoms — and adjusting from there.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can acupuncture help with low energy and fatigue? Yes — fatigue is one of the most common and responsive complaints, often tied to stress and poor sleep, both of which acupuncture addresses well. Persistent fatigue also deserves medical evaluation to rule out underlying causes, which I'll encourage.
Does acupuncture help erectile dysfunction or low libido? Acupuncture can offer supportive care for the stress, sleep, and circulation factors behind reduced libido and function. Importantly, these symptoms can signal underlying cardiovascular, hormonal, or metabolic issues, so medical evaluation is important — acupuncture complements that, it doesn't replace it.
Can it help prostate or urinary symptoms? Men seek acupuncture for symptom support with pelvic discomfort and urinary symptoms, such as chronic pelvic pain syndrome, alongside a urologist's care. These symptoms need proper medical diagnosis first.
Is acupuncture useful for male fertility? Supportive care for sperm health addresses stress, sleep, and lifestyle factors, and takes about three months (one production cycle) to matter. See the fertility page for details.
Is this discreet? Completely. The first visit is a practical conversation at your pace, and your care is private.
